Timothee is often a bit of an avant-garde dresser, and yeah, it would have been fun if he’d waltzed out in some deliciously SWINTON-ian Haider Ackermann hipster ensemble that made it look like he arrived by skydiving from an acid plane. But that jacket is great, no? It’s cool, it’s very festive, and it’s JUST enough. We’re not so busy parsing the clothes that we’re forgetting to look at him. It was the best part of a not-great monologue (he got better as the show went on), and I appreciate him for giving me a coat to ogle. Fare thee well, Tim. Fare (Timo)thee well.
