First, a note: The Stanley Cup Finals ended last night, but the Jubilant Men in Beards will have to wait until tomorrow because we had two awards shindigs this weekend. It’s coming, I promise.
Second, Drew has been exploring floaty frocks and dramatic flourishes lately, and to me this is the apex of that journey. The cape rocks, the color is excellent, her makeup works, and the jewelry is both MAJOR and the ideal complement (as her BFF Cameron Diaz can attest, things in the turquoise family really play well with anything in the rich pink arena). Lee Harris, her costume designer on The Drew Barrymore Show, served as her stylist here and also won what’s clearly a well-deserved Emmy for his work with her. Congrats, Lee, and NEVER TAKE IT OFF, DREW.
