I really enjoyed season 1 of Silo, and then had so much trouble slogging through season two that I abandoned it… I mean, I’m not even exactly sure when. Sometime after Steve Zahn showed up? Maybe I tried to one-eye it, and that’s not feasible; maybe I should try again. But it’s one of those Apple shows that clearly cost a bajillion dollars but which they never promote, so my first reminder that it even had a season three was this photo of Rebecca Ferguson looking sort of… uninspiring. The cut of that jacket is so weirdly slumpy that it makes her look like she’s slouching, dejected, perhaps also weighed down by questions about Apple’s allocation of marketing funds. I was going to say that jacket looks like it was crafted in a silo, but frankly it’s probably an insult to people who live in silos, much less the Silo, where they might all wear a lot of coveralls but at least they’re well-cut.
