One fun thing: This event was at the Moonlight Rollerway in Glendale, which is a roller rink that’s been there FOREVER. More movie and TV events should be at places like this, that is incredibly fun. (A friend of mine had her 40th birthday there and it was a blast.) Also, it’s thematic, as The Shards is set in the 1980s. (It’s Bret Easton Ellis’s “fictionalized memoir” of his senior year of high school in 1981, Los Angeles.
This crew DOES look like they’ve reached their sartorial end, though. Not in the sense that they look bad. In the sense that no one here is wearing curtains and everyone looks basically…totally fine? Put on your roller skates and get after it!
