Okay, in fairness to Elsa Hosk here, there IS some context and I feel like her face is saying, “PLEASE DON’T TAKE THIS OUT OF CONTEXT,” so I will not. Ahem: Per Informative Caption, “Elsa Hosk is seen arriving to the UGG Feel House.” I am sure UGG sent her these — or gave them to her after an event at the aforementioned UGG Feel House — and she did, in fact, wear them for a series of promotional shots for the brand. (Sarah Jessica Parker ALSO did some UGG spon-con for them; between this and her attending the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, I am a little worried SJP has been put under some kind of spell where she thinks it’s 2006. If only, girl!!!!!!) Anyway, they are low-key a hoot to me. First of all: Cozy. Second of all, it’s like someone said, “I want to wear some sexy thigh-high boots BUT I also want to swear slippers,” and someone at UGG said, “HOLD MY BEER.” The back of them is saucy (and lets you roll them down, cleverly), they cost $1000, AND they’re almost nearly sold out, so this is apparently a universal desire.
