I’m sure there were times Princess Leia got really tired of her long white dress getting all caught up in her legs, and sticking to all that glop in the garbage compactor, after which it probably smelled like hell and she may have been willing to trade a hair bun for a stapler with which to hem the damn thing.
But this is not my favorite interpretation of that idea. For one thing, it stumpifies the lovely Mindy in several ways, and for another, it appears to be trying to cut her chest in half. And I generally don’t like to cut things in half that are not sandwiches. Sometimes it’s the simple rules that bring life the most joy.
