Ruth Negga is making her Broadway debut in Macbeth, opposite Daniel Craig, an opening that was delayed when Bond got Covid but which now gets to close out a week in which we’ve (happily!) had an unusual amount of theatre content (Funny Girl, Andre de Shields, the Spring Awakening concert). All of this is really making me miss New York, even though we haven’t traveled there regularly in ages and didn’t have much time for shows even when we did. STILL. I would love to tromp past these marquees on my way to the subway, at least.
