Scandal only just had the midseason finale of its last season, which means we’re going to get another premiere brouhaha when it returns, and a whole slew of publicity leading up to my eventual sweet release from this show’s demon clutches. (I am in too far, and too interested in endings, to quit now — but boy, is it testing me. It’s so bad, and full of horrible horrible horrible people for whom it is impossible to root. I want this show to end with Mellie and Charlie blowing everyone else up, and that’s saying something because Mellie once faked a miscarriage and CHARLIE IS A MURDERER.)
Also: Bonus coverage of Shonda being inducted into the TV Hall of Fame, because when it happened we forgot to deal with it. Sorry, Shonda! Better late than never.
