I hope Emilia Perez has award-season legs, because it could be fun for fashion. As we noted earlier, Zoe Saldana has a bit stronger Supporting Actress buzz than Selena Gomez at the moment, not that they couldn’t both get recognized; either way, if the movie snags a nom (France entered it as its foreign film), Selena will be there. And Karla Sofía Gascón has some lead actress buzz, which would be thrilling because she’s a newcomer, and I LOVE seeing which heavy-hitter stylist steps in and what sartorial vibe they pick. They’ve already been very busy this month alone.
