The Wild Robot’s Pedro Pascal and Bill Nighy look dapper, with Pedro almost restrained compared to his usual. Lupita… has brought out some Chanel sequins laid over a fairly mundane cream suit, and friends, I don’t even know what that is, other than what happens when they finally let Mr. Snuffleupagus go grey. A sleeveless knee-length turtleneck dickie? A posture challenge? A glamorous tribute to ZZ Top? The real winner is the vintage purse; the top is wild, and that’s the robot, and I suspect her stylist sourced it so that we’d give up on thinking too hard about the other thing.
Luckily, since I published this, an eagle-eyed reader found it on Reddit; it’s scarf, and the runway model wore it more subtly. I would love to know how she and her stylist decided to turn it into a whole-ass beard situation. Creative, but maybe overwhelming?
