Apparently, this event marks the honorary Oscars — one of which is going to Geena Davis! — but is mostly an excuse for Hollywood to invite all the people it thinks might get nominated for one into a very large, very star-studded room. I wholeheartedly approve, and when you get a load of some of these outfits, so will you. (Panic not: I haven’t forgotten anyone in pants; they’re getting the next slideshow. HANG TIGHT.)
