The Clio Awards honor commercials, and a couple familiar pitch-people came. In the spirit of the event, who are the commercial stars you wish you could give special recognition? For me, it’s a woman in the Progressive ad where the couple buys a new house, and they move in only to find all their neighbors have turned into their parents; my big winner is the lady who says, “Oh, you have a tattoo? Fuuuun! Do you not work?” That line reading is aces.
