Yes, there are three pairs of trousers in this slideshow, so it’s not all gowns, but it was a VERY gown-dominant year on the red carpet. Frankly, this is a Herculean task, which is why we’re taking liberties with length; it was just a LOT and such a funky variety. There are still plenty of things we missed, or forgot, as always, so please do add your own favorites to the comments. In the end, it’s very good news indeed that 2019 was filled with so many pretty things that it could… well, if not balance out the fug, at least occasionally counteract it.
