I loved this dress when Ruth Negga wore a version of it, and I love the short version, too. This whole look is just a party. (Her shoes are by Alexandre Birman and while I cannot seem to find them for sale yet, I HAVE in the course of looking found my New Year’s Eve shoes. I do not have plans for NYE yet, of course. Perhaps I shall just put on these shoes and crawl into my bed!) I salute her pattern mixing, her abstention from dullness, and her lipstick. Which is really all anyone needs, anyway.
