I guess we should be relieved she’s not wearing the runway version? Laura likes Christopher Kane — she wore him to the SAGs at the beginning of the year, with a much greater rate of success — but he has done very poorly by her here. This is a little cocktail dress that someone hot-glued a bunch of random trim to, in hopes that it will end up looking “customized” and not “randomized.” (Having said that, there is something very endearing about the fact that she’s wearing the same shoes, two days in a row.)
