Oh, this was so close. So, so close.
It’s a gorgeous dress. Really lovely. But in the I Will Never Be Satisfied Apparently category, I wish she’d done the red lip with one of her previously under-made-up outfits, and gone with something subtler here. However, I can live with that; it’s the hair where things turn a wee janky for me. Because I’m of the impression that she just gave up on it:
Slick it back! Leave it down! Slick it back AND leave it down! Those are three choices that would have been worth exploring ahead of what won, which was apparently, “Eh, whatever, just shove it in a bun and a bobby pin and call it an ear ponytail.”
