At some point, I made the executive decision to just not take on anything about this movie. Not out of any moral or ethical reason — I don’t love Zack Levi’s anti-vax turn, though!! — but mostly because my brain is at total capacity for superhero movies and I know deep in my soul that I don’t need to know anything about a Shazam! movie other than the fact that Helen Mirren, Lucy Liu, and Rachel Zegler are in it and ergo I’m probably going to get some decent red carpet content out of it. AND HERE WE ARE. It’s pretty good stuff!
