Valentino’s Show Was a Play on Black Tie

Supposedly inspired by something his daughter wore, Pierpaolo Piccioli made this collection a tribute to all the elements of suiting, with “black tie” as the overall theme. Not a ton of straight-up gowns, but an enjoyable theme nonetheless.
