I’m not a huge fan of vertical blinds in my actual life, but as the aesthetic for a step-and-repeat, it’s kind of fun — everyone’s clothes POP against that blue, but it’s also like they’re in an extremely poorly decorated penthouse. Which fits Running Point itself; it’s a “poorly decorated penthouse” in the sense that it doesn’t really live up to its premise and often goes off on cringey tangents, but ultimately, the view IS still pretty good and you would trust Kate Hudson to come by and water the plants and check the mail, and maybe spend a day borrowing your Hulu.
