I have absolutely 100 percent mentioned this before, but strap in, because I’m going to repeat myself: When I was a kid, I watched a show called Hattytown — which some knew as Hattytown Tales, I think — that was about, yes, the adventures of a bunch of anthropomorphized lids. This show is like that, only… sinister, and often very floral. I could get behind that, actually? Maybe Acorn can develop The Hattytown Murders as a cozy mystery.
But, there are other things in here, too, and friends, I laughed my way through this with abandon. If MIRTH was the goal, then mission accomplished. But I can’t quite tell if it was.
