This movie, 1992, is set amid the Los Angeles riots in after the Rodney King verdict in April of that year. And obviously I don’t mean to reduce that entire topic to Ray Liotta; it’s also a juicy role for Tyrese up there. But a) they put a spray-painted image of Ray on the backdrop at this party so I assume they’re fine with this being a headline, and b) as much as it would have been wild for him to exit with a bang in Cocaine Bear, this is the final film to appear on Liotta’s resume. I haven’t seen any reviews yet, but it’s unsurprisingly VERY challenging to google “1992 movie review” and get anything other than stories about movies that came out that year. The Hollywood Reporter really loved Aladdin, and rightly.
