Beau Is Afraid is the latest from Ari Aster, whose freaky Midsommer was a big engine driving Florence Pugh’s ascent. Deadline’s review describes a WHOLE lot of the plot, and yet I sense that there’s so much more it isn’t telling us? Anyway, if Beau is afraid in Ari Aster’s hands, then I am probably going to be downright terrified. At least Parker is bringing some sunshine here.
