I’ve had to come to terms with the fact that — much like with jumpsuits — my default position on dingy, taupe tulle is going to be, “Sigh, I wish this could have been something else.” But, again like with jumpsuits, it’s going to exist anyway and so I can’t throw them all out with the bathwater.
And so: Would this be great in blue, or green, or red? Yes. But is it still pretty on its own merits, and is Nina wearing it well? Unimpeachably. So let’s give her a high-five and then promise Roy G. Biv he’ll have his day again soon.
