Nicky Hilton married a Rothschild, which I assume means her weekly shopping budget could be the price of my house and it wouldn’t make a dent. But, and obviously this is not always the case, she’s also using it very wisely. Case in point: This Oscar de la Renta.

It’s just tremendously pretty. I don’t know what else to say about it, other than… yeah, I am going to need a full tour of this room, too, please and thank you. I want to know how this wall fits in, and whether those bookshelves are backlit, and so much more. How does the wallpaper here fit the curves of the mirror so precisely? Does that mean it ISN’T wallpaper, and it was hand-painted? Or was the mirror hand-cut? NICKY. Share your secrets.

Here, she’s giving us terribly cute spring/summer stripes:

This Max Mara ensemble seems to be from a magazine shoot she did — here she is on the cover, wearing pants that match the sweater –  and may also be in service of her French Sole x Nicky Hilton kicks. The mix of horizontal and vertical stripes is so good. I know that Nicky never had the… grabby… fashion sense of her sister Paris, and made a quieter entrance into notoriety. For that reason, I also think I paid her way less attention. She flew under my radar most of the time. Ergo, I never expected a Hilton to have a closet I actually envied, beyond (I assume) the actual physical closet itself. WHO KNEW. Well played, Nicky.
