Jeremy Scott lined up a gaggle of Moschino-clad celebs for his Vogue interview, and said he was inspired by the interiors of all the fancy Gilded Age mansions — mouldings, trims, actual gilt, you name it. He said all this to Vanessa Hudgens, whom he also dressed, but in something that was a strange combination of naked and maudlin and did not evoke balls and rich ceilings and excess so much as “I hexed my dead rich husband and now I will ensorcel his brother.” Which, you know, that has its place. I wish THAT, verbatim, would be the theme next time.
