That little trapeze dress is SO cute and she looks great in it; simultaneously, it is absolutely one of those garments you take off the rack and hold it up against your body and turn to your friend and say, “is this a dress…? Or like…a tunic top?” and you both look at it for a long time and then you feel weird about maybe accidentally wearing a shirt as a dress or a dress as a shirt and you put it back. (Legally speaking, it is in fact a dress.)
