THIS is what I was expecting to see fairly quickly: actors getting some face time during the strike by doing branded events that have nothing to do with entertainment products. Here, Mindy Kaling is at a party for skincare company Lion Pose (so far they sell a hyperpigmentation serum people seem to like) for whom she appears to be an ambassador, although that post isn’t tagged accordingly so maybe she’s just a fan? But that seems unlikely if they’re throwing a party honoring her? Regardless, her taste in exorbitantly pretty floral party dresses has not diminished even with drastically fewer places to wear them, and I for one am thrilled. Especially because this is much nicer than the intermittently ruffled pistachio situation she wore on her Instagram a few days ago, which looks like somebody went on strike before finishing the actual design of the dress. So this is definitely an improvement. It looks like the upholstery and wallpaper they use on Love Island USA for all the little nooks and crannies around the villa, and unbelievably, that IS a compliment.
