Las Culturistas is Bowen Yang’s podcast with his pal, comedian Matt Rogers, and they announced some tongue-in-cheek awards this year — stuff like Most Iconic Building, Kindest Greeting, Social Change Moment of the Year (“When a gay celebrity writes a children’s book”), Walking Home Alone Award For What Women *Have* To Do (“Just go talk to him to make sure he’s okay” and “Learn about Toxic Shock Syndrome and then worry about it until you die”). I didn’t realize they were also planning a whole EVENT for them. Foolish me! Don’t worry — everyone treated it with the UTMOST of seriousness, beginning with Meg Stalter, whose bodice is made out of empty Diet Coke boxes and who carried a fridge cigarette (my new favorite slang term) for good measure.
