Margot’s stylist, Andrew Mukamal, has not noted any Barbie references for either of these looks — although he did post that the bottom one is Bottega Veneta — so I’m assuming they’re both freeform, although of course the pink one does seem very Barbie-referential given the color. I’m sure that’s how it’s meant to fit but that skirt looks like it’s annoying to walk in, because it rides up. (I bet it’s very cute when standing; Margot’s styling team has been on top of her fit generally.) She looks a bit like a mod Barbie Flight Attendant, which is fun and kicky.
I bet it’s nice to take off the thematic drag every once and awhile, though:
Even the one long shirt tail doesn’t bug me; she looks cool.
