Lupita’s was not the ONLY Metallic Surprise, which sounds like a lunchtime special at a truly terrible diner — like the one on You Can’t Do That On Television in olden times — but it was the one that made me shriek the most. (Yes, I’m making you click in to see it, less because I’m a jerk — though I surely am — than because the jolt is worth it.) It hardly ever happens that Lupita is the hot contender for worst dressed at an event. What is 2019 trying to tell us about what it holds? Is up about to be down?
