This is a recent Gaultier runway look that we wanted someone to wear to the Oscars, and figured would end up on Lady Gaga. That was a legit guess, but it might be more fun on Lizzo — or, at the very least, Lizzo is having more fun with it than Gaga probably would have:

The way this burbles around on the bottom sort of reminds me of Ursula the Sea Witch and (a) this is a massive compliment, as Ursula is a babe and definitely the chicest person in that particular ocean (and Lizzo agrees, judging from this take on her audition for the part in the upcoming Disney live-action) (Melissa McCarthy got cast, and while I love McCarthy, I don’t really think she has Ursula’s vibe?), and also (b) I’d love to see more Sea Witch energy on red carpets, honestly.
