This outfit is confounding to me, and not just because I don’t understand why anyone would want to flaunt that particular slip. Look at the jacket: Doesn’t it seem like it’s utterly shapeless on its own, and therefore that it almost requires her to wear it cast off her shoulder just-so in order to give it any style at all? Except not only is that annoying — how do you hold a drink AND a crudite, and aren’t you cold, and while we’re here WHAT are those fishing lures doing on your body? — but it also makes her look like a stereotype from a crappy old movie, in which the only women who wear suits are sliding said suits off while perching on a man’s desk and cooing things over a brandy. Pass.
