Lady Gaga is very much a Versace woman, or so I always think, so I am a tiny bit surprised she didn’t wear Donatella here — especially as Donatella was present. (She arrived with Irina Shayk, and accordingly, dressed her.) But this was absolutely the right move. This is showstopping, and clearly we have Jessica to thank, as she foretold it back when Kaia Gerber attempted it on the couture runway. Kaia needed gigantic hair to pull it off; Gaga needed only Gaga.
