Obviously Lady Gaga is no stranger to exiting and entering hotels in extreme outfits. But for such a long time, those involved five-inch platforms and tights performing as pants, and other such curiosities, and recently she’s glammed up the whole enterprise in a way that’s reminiscent of Queen Celine swanning around Paris. It’s less an assemblage of clothes, and more capital-F Fashion — still probably performance art, but a different flavor. Serious Fashion for a Serious Actress, maybe? Either way, I’m extremely into this phase. She looks like a mogul headed to her courthouse wedding before she ruins someone’s life at a board meeting. Let’s see HER as Alexis Carrington Colby.
