Someone on Instagram noted here that she MAYBE could have used some earrings and now that note is stuck in my head; I sort of like how bare this is, other than the dress, but I agree that maybe diamond studs would not have gone awry. (They rarely do, after all.) Leaving that aside: Isn’t this festive and cheerful and seasonal, without being too on the nose? If I had a formal holiday party to attend — I do not! — I’d want something like this. Instead, I just bought new sweatpants….which I suppose are holiday-appropriate in their own way.
