In addition to menswear, and separate from Couture Week that’s about to start, Patou and Jacquemus did ready-to-wear shows this weekend — one for Spring/Summer 2025, and one for Fall/Winter 2025. Because the fashion calendar apparently means nothing anymore except as a tool of great confusion. Speaking of: That IS basically a blouse that’s designed to be backwards, right? The way the collar sits, the particular seams… sadly we don’t have a shot of the back, so we’ll never know if it’s a full button-up situation back there or whether the whole thing is an amorphous striped smock. Le sigh.
