Well, one Iris Van Herpen is better than no Iris Van Herpen. To showcase this dress — featured above in stills from the movie — she hired Game of Thrones’s Carice van Houten to meander around for three minutes looking beguilingly blank, and… mission accomplished, I guess:
I find her a little more blank than beguiling, and can’t help but wish Gwen Christie had done it instead — although I assume Gwen is self-isolating in whatever mystical cloud dimension she calls home and was unavailable to travel to this studio.
