Stylist Instagrams were already valuable resources, but without a red carpet where celebs are directly asked who they are wearing — the talk show circuit doesn’t make time for that stuff — the social media posts become that much more important for credits and exposure. It’s smart, and it provides a chance for a lot of these people to tag all the other hard working folks who helped make a look come together (by and large, the stylists are better at casting that wider net than the stars themselves, though that’s certainly not always the case).

That in mind, here are a few we missed over the last little while, beginning with Lily “Emily in Paris” Collins:

This is Armani, a brand I did not realize had started making pleated hotpants. What’s next? Escada jorts?

And now she’s in Saint Laurent on a step-ladder? I feel like she’s angling for a Breakfast at Tiffany’s modernization that the world absolutely does not need.

HOWEVER, this is Marc Jacobs and it is deliciously festive, even though I have serious questions about why she needs double the belts. There is no way it equates to double the pleasure or double the fun.

I don’t know why, but I am always concerned about how celebrities use the facilities in their various getups. How long does it take Kimberly to remove these when she needs the bathroom, and are they REALLY worth the on-and-off minutes?

However… I find her plastic tiger pants strangely charming.

For Christmas, Kimberly dressed as a lizard queen. That’s Kylie with her, although you could be forgiven for thinking, “Oh, that must just be a random Kardashian cousin or hanger-on,” because I’m not ever entirely sure what Kylie looks like anymore.

Kendall is blue because she’s wearing a scrunchie and bike shorts.

This is Miu Miu, and it’s absurd. On the runway, it had an extra length of skirt, so it looked VAGUELY less like she cut the straps off a backpack and then tried to marry them to a tennis dress she knitted during The Bachelorette.

This is a habit of hers. The proportions of this dress are entirely different on the model. It’s still a dopey outfit, but on Kourtney it looks like holiday lingerie.

Regina is giving life to both of these, but I am particularly into the one on the right.

I am so very saddened by the reviews for the Wonder Woman sequel, which really does sound like it lost its way terribly, and terribly often. Gal at least looks charming as hell in this suit.

Red is definitely her color.

Red is ALSO striking on Kristen, but are we confident this isn’t a bathrobe? Then again — it’s 2020 and everything is happening at home, so if it’s a bathrobe, WHO EVEN CARES.

I do, however, care very much that someone is trying to turn a shirt-dress into a straitjacket.

I will leave you with this: Please, America, do not embrace fashion bike shorts. It’s not a thing. Don’t give yourself a whole new set of photos you’re going to wish didn’t exist in another decade.
