This Madame X look works very well on Phoebe Waller-Bridge, a woman who generally eschews color and does so with excellent results here. Even those faux-anklet heels are banging on her. I approve! She must be unimaginably relieved by this.

I’m not like…100% on the trousers but I think they might be linen and everyone knows that Linen Does Unpredictable Things. I’m like 92% on them, though, and that’s still an A.
