Rosamund looks really cute in this photo. The dress is stylish but casual, the shoes are old favorites of hers that have a very pretty shape to them, and the bangs are fun. Her hair in general is so bouncy, and this whole enterprise makes me smile.
But I saw that photo second. The one I saw first was of this outfit:
She looks like a different person — like the dress is so tight, compressing her so much, that ALL of her is pinched. The bangs also look fake here in a way they didn’t in the other shot, her shoes are clunky, and she MIGHT be mixing white and cream — which as you know is one of my pet peeves because it makes the off-white section look dingy. This whole look is Miss Havisham meets Laura Dern in The Last Jedi meets Hair From Nicole Kidman’s Past.
It’s MUCH niftier with the fiery feathered coat over it, although we all know how that ends for poor Miss Havisham.
