Widows opens next week — at least here in LA — and I am very excited to see it. Steve McQueen directed it, Gillian Flynn wrote it, everyone who I follow on Twitter that has seen it has loved it, I like the faces of everyone in it, and this is the plot description:

A police shootout leaves four thieves dead during an explosive armed robbery attempt in Chicago. Their widows — Veronica, Linda, Alice and Belle — have nothing in common except a debt left behind by their spouses’ criminal activities. Hoping to forge a future on their own terms, Veronica joins forces with the other three women to pull off a heist that her husband was planning.

LADY HEISTS. I’m in. (It’s apparently based on a British mini-series from the 80s and if we’re rebooting 80s miniseries….um, I have a list. It starts with Lace and ends with Lace and the middle suggestion is also Lace.)
