Anne here is still shooting WeCrashed, the story of WeWork (with Jared Leto, and this has been going on for a while; that feels like a LOT of Jared Leto for a person who is not related to him). Anyway, I assume this is her costume and that she’s walking to set, as Anne Hathaway does not SEEM like a fur-trimmed-capri-satin-pants person. But the face shield is what gets me. Actors often seem to wear these to and from their NYC sets, at least as far as we can tell from the photos we get, but I’ve never seen one with stickers plastered right over the place where her eyeballs generally need to be. It looks like she has to walk with her head turned just to be able to see what’s happening in front of her. Does this not seem like a bad idea, just… logistically?
That’s also a LOT of novelty stickers. I would love to know if they’re some kind of running joke on set and people keep slapping random stuff they find onto it. But mostly I’m concerned she’s going to get a wild crick in her neck. I hope that film budget has a Burke Williams line item.
