This is a super cover. She looks great, the pool looks great, the necklace looks great, the whole thing is rich as hell, and I NEED to read both “Death Becomes HAIR” (!!!) AND how to live forever and look great doing it. T&C sometimes feels like the last magazine with a sense of humor anymore.

Anyway! The profile is totally fine and absolutely reasonable. That seems like a zing but it’s not! It’s very solid! There are a lot of good, flattering quotes and Hannah does not say anything crazy. What she DOES say is this:

“There’s stuff that I would very freely tell you sitting across from each other,” says the actress, who turns 30 this month. She’s flying under the radar this morning, wearing a sweatshirt and a baseball hat pulled down over her brow. “But when you know you’re being recorded… I don’t know that I necessarily would tell the entire human population of Earth.”

And when a person you are profiling says that, you know you are not gonna get anything juicy! Good for said celeb, obviously, I sincerely think we all need to know WAY LESS about each other. But anyone writing this profile is gonna hear that and think, “damn it.” There’s only so much you can do if the person is self-controlled enough not to accidentally tell you that, like, Jean Smart once drove a car through the front glass of a Dunkin’ and swore you to secrecy or something. Anyway, click through and read it if you don’t know much about Einbinder — it’s an excellent primer on her, which is actually probably what the readers of T&C want anyway — and also because there is one shot in there that I LOVE and would frame if I were her.
