Halle’s movie Bruised is getting very mixed reviews — lukewarm stuff like “it’s not badly made, necessarily,” from The Observer, and “there’s a mirthless predictability” (Variety). But the consensus is that SHE is very good in it, so maybe we’ll still get to see her once or twice on Ye Olde Awards Circuit? She’s certainly doing her promotional part — here, in a bunch of pantsuits, one of which had a light surprise. Mild, I mean, not one actually made of lights. That would be a surprise and now I’m a bit sad she hasn’t swaddled herself in an LED string or three. There’s still time.
