Happy weekend everyone! I hope you have something fun planned — or at least nothing actively unfun.
Over at Drinks With Broads, we tackled this week’s shocking art heist at the Louvre! (That one was fun for me to write.) Also, Possible trouble in paradise for Biel/Timberlake, Costner goes spelunking, and the Kennedys are getting The Crown treatment. On Thursday, we gave you the biggest takeaways from Kevin Federline’s new memoir, and Heather investigates Watch Out, I’m the Lady Boss!
Only Murders in the Building is almost at the end of this season! Here’s our latest recap.
Do you want a cute patterned coat?
This entire story about the NBA gambling arrests is TOTALLY WILD. I….did not expect any of this.
Wow: The Surveillance Empire That Tracked World Leaders, a Vatican Enemy, and Maybe You
I’ve long said that I think most celebs should NOT be in charge of their own social media; Kristen Bell is the latest example of why. (I really like her as an actor but everything I know about her personal life has been, as they say, against my will.)
Yeah, we definitely know too much about people: Jennifer Lawrence’s wild confession: She secretly fed Robert Pattinson food from her trash
PSA for my fellow Gift With Purchase lovers, and/or sunscreen enthusiasts, Supergoop is currently giving away a free, full-size Triple Prep Moisturizer if you spend more than $60. I LOVE their Unseen Sunscreen. (You need SPF in winter, too!) I also just noticed that they have lip gloss now. I am always interested in a gloss. Anyway, news you can perhaps use.
Late edit to note that I just realized All Modern is having a big 70% off sale starting Sunday, if you’re in the market for anything. (Last day of the sale is 10/29.) Technically I’m low-key in the market for an ottoman to live at the foot of my bed, and a new chair for my living room — I really like this one; I’m replacing a VERY old vintage chair that my dog likes to scratch up and sort of want the same feel. (I will likely take a twirl through my local antique and second-hand stores first though; the old one cost me like $70 in 1995 so my price for use was excellent.) But in practice…what if I buy a pink Christmas tree?
Tis the season! The Slasher Movie Superlatives

Aw, this bear came to visit his friends in the zoo!
I’d watch this; America’s Sweetheart Cop Wants to ‘Freaky Friday’ Amy Poehler
This is a great interview with Stellan Skarsgård.
OMG: Shopping Margaret Thatcher’s Estate Sale
This new Tim Curry memoir sounds like a worthwhile read.
I’m strongly considering getting a pair of flat knee-high boots; these are gorgeous. (I should have kept my PREVIOUS set of flat, knee-high boots…but they were kind of mangled.)
I’m also low-key intrigued by these cords.
