Happy weekend, everyone! Thank you so much to everyone for bearing with us as we moved the site over to Ghost and got things up and running. There are still some glitches being worked on and a few wrinkles to iron out – you can report any issues you have here, as we are still regularly checking that post. As a reminder, this new system requires anyone who comments to have an account – even if you had one previously, you need to re-register, because we did not copy over any of your information (we felt you should get to decide that). If you haven't already, you can register by scrolling down into the comments and clicking the red Sign Up Now button, or look to the top right of the site for a Sign In/Sign Up link. As a bonus, you'll be able to edit your comments!!! (You need to use a real email address but can still use whatever alias you want.) And if you had a Gravatar before, and you use the same e-mail address, it should bring that over for you automatically.

Hope you have fun plans this weekend; my husband and I are going to Milwaukee for the first game of the World Series (he's a lifelong Brewers fan!) and we're so excited. In the meantime, this week on GFY, I rounded up cute boots, AND fun stuff for spooky season, right under the wire. We also had a fun chat where everyone shared the best recommendations they've gotten from Afternoon Chats over the years. At Drinks With Broads this week, we asked...are people over Justin Timberlake? We also speculated who might be named Sexiest Man Alive, bemoaned the new Glee reboot, and discussed this news about Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein.

Lainey's got a LOT of news about the new Bond, which is still a developing story as usual, but perhaps... more intensely developing.

Really interesting: We’re addicted to social media. How do we get sober?

I'm sure: 'Every museum in the world is stressing': How brazen art heists are affecting visitors

Our friend (and Fug National) Abby wrote about being a Harry Styles superfan – and how restorative and fun it's been for her to follow his tour around the world for the past few months.

I've been slowly rebooting – speaking of reboots – my workout clothes. I just got this workout dress and I LOVE it; it's designed so you can pull down the shorts underneath to pee instead of having to take off the entire dress, which is genius. We have a code for Club Recess: DWB15 takes 15% off. I also grabbed this Under Armour fleece, which is 30% off right now. (I love this color in their leggings, too.) Heads up that their outlet is having a sale right now, too.

This entire headline is an experience: Florida officer found dead man, impersonated him for years and renovated his home, police say. The best part is that he wants the real heirs to reimburse him for the repairs he did!

Whoa: Unsealed O.J. Simpson Records Prompt a Request for a New Investigation. The crux here is potential evidence that someone helped OJ hide a murder weapon, which I feel is very likely and, as this piece implies, of course the most likely suspect is Al Cowlings.

Oh man, I was just thinking about this: I miss the restaurant pager

Heated Rivalry is coming to a movie theatre near you!

Apparently, Gemma Chan might be in the running for a Best Supporting Actress nomination – I haven't seen Josephine (and won't because it sounds very upsetting), but I support this for the possible red carpet moments alone. (Apparently Channing Tatum is also great in this one. I feel like Channing is sort of underrated as an actor.)

Madewell did a collab with...the New York Public Library!! It's really cute and going fast – I'm mad I didn't get there in time to snag the cap!

This is excellent: How a retired Navajo Nation doctor earned a MacArthur genius grant for public art

This is a real earworm: The Brewers’ playoff anthem is a high-pitched viral hit with players, fans and the library. If you haven't heard this, it's TERRIBLE but in a way that's extremely funny.

Speaking of sales, the intimates bra CUUP is having a big one; I'm trying out this bra. (I've heard good things about their strapless bra, but, crucially, I have NOT tried it myself. Strapless bras are always a ride.)

Important journalism: What Would Happen If You Had Sex With a Wicker Dick? (This is based on the movie Wicker, this is not just some random theoretical.) This feels like an excellent use of one of my allotted gift links from NYMag.

What an AMAZING necklace.

An interesting piece about historic London restuarants.

Speaking of restaurants: George Lucas's Skywalker Grill Reminds Me of Applebee's in the Best Way.

As of my typing this, Lands' End is having a very enormo sale, including this sweater that I LOVE, their down jackets (which are excellent, Heather loves hers), this down jacket that is SO 80s in a great way, and this really good trench. (I hope the sale is still on when you read this!) In general, Land's End is very reliable for outerwear.
