Ugh, what a week. I don’t even know what to say anymore. I hope you’re doing okay. I am no longer a woman but just a sentient mass of killer bees.

Anyway:

This week was National Voter Registration Day. Are you registered to vote? Do you need to check your registration?  (Sometimes they get screwed up, even if you haven’t had issues in the past.) Do you need to request a mail-in ballot! You can do that all here at Vote.org. SO EASY!

Do you need a cardigan to wrap around yourself like a hug? We rounded up some cute ones.

Also, I loved the comments on this post from earlier this week: What Is Your Most Useful Yet Cheap Belonging??

Required, at the New York Times: Cocktails the Lazy Way, at the End of the Day

Related, at Bon Appetit: What the BA Staff Is Cooking to Get in the Mood for Fall

This excellent piece at The AV Club about Martha Stewart Living includes a lot of clips of her original TV show and wow they’re soothing.

At Lainey, it’s the new trailer for Creed II, in which Michael B Jordan looks VERY foine.

At Pajiba, a very good question: Why Does the DC Universe Have Such a Toxic Fanbase?

At Fast Company: The untold story of the vegetable peeler that changed the world

Over at Celebitchy: Rashida Jones had a baby last month and kept it quiet. Yay for secret babies! (I had my suspicions!)

At Girls of a Certain Age: Cute leopard print things.

Over at Shondaland, I loved this: I Spent a Week Actively Trying to Corrupt My Baby. (By reading her banned books.)

At The Cut: Snowboarder Chloe Kim on Perfect Eyeliner and Her Lucky Toe. (She’s the new face of Laneige, AKA the maker of my FAVORITE LIP TREATMENT IN THE WORLD.)
