I am not conversant in Greta Gerwig’s filmography, but maybe I should be: Lola Versus, Frances Ha, and now Mistress America are all supposed to be pretty good. The problem is, I only get a chance to focus on movies when I’m on a plane, and a quirky naturalistic mumblecore dramedy is never really what I’m in the mood for when I’m drinking Diet Coke out of a plastic cup.
