We’ve been napping on the Efron job, it seems — between Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax, and Nicholas Sparks’ The Lucky One, he’s been out and about a surprising amount lately. I do find myself wishing those projects would borrow from each other a little, though. Can you imagine if it was Nicholas Seuss’s The Lucky One and Dr. Sparks’ The Lorax? Not that I need to see The Lorax muddied by a character with amnesia/a dead lover/an amnesiac lover who dies, but I do really think every other Sparks movie could use a dose of absurdist Seussism. Imagine The Notebook if James Marsden’s character were played by the Grinch. Instant classic.
