First the New York Film Critics Circle, then this, and the People’s Choice Awards are tonight, so that makes three days in a row of things keeping Hollywood spit-shined and speckled and shoe-horned into glad rags, all in advance of the Globes on Sunday. Nobody loves giving out statuettes more than this town, and bless it for THAT.
